France, Alpes de Haute Provence - Valensole
Located close to Valensole is a lavender farm which is also a member of France Passion. I had found this composition the previous day and opted to park up under their almond trees and stay over that night ready for the sunrise. As with many sunrise shots on the Plateau de Valensole during July the haze on the horizon tends to be ever present.
What particularly caught my eye here was the three groups of complimentary parallels, plus the lone tree.
The Plateau de Valensole in addition to growing large expanses of lavender also produces significant quantities of cereal crops namely, wheat, corn, barley, oats and sorghum. File 0072.
Keywords: lavender wheat fields, Plateau de Valensole France, French sunrise, Provence. Alba Landscapes,File0072
