Les Trois Canons is a collection of just a few

houses on the west coast of France facing out into the Bay of Biscay. Les Trois Canons is described as a hamlet in the commune of Yves.
Just inland at Les Trois Canons are several mussel farms which pump large amounts of fresh sea water into and out of the artificial mussel beds. The days of going out at low tide to harvest mussels has long gone at Les Trois Canons. Sadly there appears to be a complete disregard for the condition of the local environment by these mussel farms with masses of old machinery and plastic 1,000 litre IBC's left lying anywhere and everywhere.
